Candido Segarra is the founder of Foresight Publishers, Inc. and an internationally published author and trainer. He has over 40 years of entrepreneurial experience, including practical involvement in marketing management, general management, manufacturing management, strategic planning and operations, corporate restructuring and turnarounds, executive coaching, and information technology. He has served as president of various high-profile companies at executive senior level positions for various Fortune 500 companies. He gained insight into the Walt Disney World organization and operations, as he organized major convention events with the Disney team and through personal training and tutoring in creative thinking by the late Mike Vance, a direct report to Walt Disney and the former Dean of the Walt Disney University, Anaheim, California.
Mr. Segarra was an invited lecturer at the Graduate School of Engineering, University of Central Florida, where he was commended for his highly rated presentations on entrepreneurship and business planning. He has earned all B.B.A. in Accounting requirements from Inter-American University and all M.B.A. in Marketing requirements from the University of Chicago; both through distance learning. He completed the Advanced Management Course at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts; completed the Advanced Negotiations Workshop, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts; and took courses toward an MA in Divinity at Covenant Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He has extensive counseling, mentoring, and executive coaching experience.
He is the author of eight acclaimed books, including You Are the Architect of Your Circumstances, originally rated five starts by the former Forbes Magazine Online (their highest rating); A Guide to Become a True Professional; How to Become a World-Class Training Facilitator and Coach; Unselfish Management; Too Much; The Little Books on Power Thinking (3-Volumes); and Starting Over.
Mr. Segarra has been nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by INC Magazine, the Florida Governor’s Advisory Board for Small Business, and Who’s Who International in Information Technology and has been written in various newspapers, business magazines, and radio shows nationwide as an expert contributor.
During the last 25-years, Candido has designed and facilitated multiple successful executive, management, and supervisory training courses for Foresight Management Development Program, as well as employee development programs for private companies.
